GREENE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES ANNOUNCES PUBLIC HEARING
Greene County Department of Human Services entered a Four-Year Plan of Services for the period of April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2028. This plan projects service needs for the future and sets appropriate goals to ensure that the needs of Greene County’s older residents will continue to be addressed effectively and efficiently. The goal is to ensure a network of supportive services to assist the County’s senior residents maintain their dignity and independence.
Kimberly Kaplan, Interim Executive Director of the Greene County Department of Human Services, announces a Public Hearing to review and comment on its 2025 service plan. The meeting is not only of interest to senior citizens and their families, but also to community agencies and policy makers who have interest, questions or concerns about services in support of the elderly. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

In an effort to give the most accurate, complete answers possible, the Department will be accepting questions or comments in advance, as well as at the meeting. Comments are important and are used in the planning process for 2025.
