Due to Federal and  State bans on large public meetings or gatherings due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic  and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 220.1 issued on March 12, 2020 temporarily modifying  the Open Meetings Law,  the Greene County Planning Board  scheduled meeting for May 20, 2020 at 6:30PM has been changed to 4:30PM and will be held electronically via a Zoom Meeting open for the public to attend in person.

Members of the public may view all meetings on the Greene County YouTube channel.

Minutes of All Meetings will transcribed and posted on the Greene County Planning Board page.

With County Planning only having 30-days to review a referral, attendance at the monthly meetings is important. Based on Planning Board By-laws three consecutive absences requires notice to a Town Supervisor or Village Mayor of failure to attend County Planning Board meetings.

Attendance Notice

Please provide as much advance notice as possible if you are unable to attend. At the very latest please provide notice by the second Friday of each month.

Please note the following procedures for attending meetings that begin after 5pm:

1. Please use the Water Street entrance to the building.
2. Please stop at the security desk and sign in, provide your name, date, time, and room number for this meeting.
3. Please stop at the security desk to sign out when the meeting is adjourned.
