You are cordially invited to attend the Annual Dedication Ceremony of the Greene County Emergency First Responders Memorial Monument.
This monument commemorates all those Greene County first responders who have given their lives in the line of duty including Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, and Corrections.
This ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greene County Emergency Operations and Training Center, 25 Volunteer Drive,
Cairo, New York.
Please join us in honoring the memory of all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the citizens of Greene County and our great nation. We believe that these admirable
men and women should never be forgotten, and we will, therefore, honor them every year with a dedication ceremony on September 11th. Greene County has purposely
chosen to coordinate this annual ceremony honoring our own first responders with the annual national remembrance of the horrific events of September 11th, 2001 to jointly
honor all first responders who have given their lives in the line of duty. This year we will be honoring Trooper Ivan Morales and Firefighter Aaron Matthews by adding their names to the Line of Duty Death Memorial.
Please RSVP at your earliest opportunity to emergency@Greene911NY.gov
