Capital Project Investments

Greene County systematically invests in municipal projects that benefit the health, safety, lifestyle, and commerce of its communities.  Conservative fiscal management and responsible stewardship of funds have resulted in one of the best credit ratings in New York State.  The county is rated Aa2 by Moody’s Investors Service (one of only two rural NYS counties to achieve that rating), saving our taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars on bonded capital projects.
