Before you go to a Hospital Emergency Room for a mental health-related issue, please contact Greene County Mental Health Center.
We can either help address the concerns you have without going to the hospital, or we can help determine if your need is greater than we can handle and then direct you to the appropriate resources. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency or in crisis, please contact MHA’s Mobile Crisis at (518) 943-5555, or during non-business hours contact GCMHC’s Mental Health On-Call service (518) 622-3344 and ask to speak to the mental health on-call worker.

The Emotional Support Line provides free and confidential support, helping callers experiencing increased anxiety due to the coronavirus emergency. The Help Line is staffed by volunteers, including mental health professionals, who have received training in crisis counseling.
