The Greene County Board of Elections is one of 62 County Election Boards in New York State that is charged constitutionally and by Statute with administering the election process for our residents. In Greene County, the Board is comprised of two Commissioners, two Deputy Commissioners and two Election clerks. Obviously our busiest time of the year is the months and weeks prior to Primary and Election Day, but the work of the Board of Elections goes on twelve months a year. Daily we accept, maintain and update the voter registration lists, train and certify election inspectors and machine custodians, and act as the depository for election related filings. Staff members at the Greene County Board of Elections are available to speak at the community, school, and social groups and we welcome visitors to our office.
