NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
GREENE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
2020 CDBG-CV FUNDING ROUND
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that there will be a Public Hearing on an application for funding from Greene County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in order to discuss potential applications from the County in the 2020 round of CDBG-CV funding. The CDBG-CV funding opportunity is a special funding round for projects related to mitigating effects of the coronavirus pandemic in certain eligible areas, as approved through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES).
A total of $60 million in funding is available in this round of funding. The County’s potential activities include activities in the Supporting Small Businesses and Public Services categories, including broadband. The County is eligible to apply for up to $1 million for one activity, or up to $2 million for combined activities.
Said public hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 6:05 p.m. in the Greene County Office Building, 4th Floor, Legislative Chambers, 411 Main Street, Catskill, New York.
The Legislature meeting will be held via Zoom. Interested members of the public may participate in the Public Hearing through this link, and residents are encouraged to submit comments and suggestions on the utilization of CDBG-eligible program funds.
