The addition of these PODs to this website, located at VaccineFinder, is part of an ongoing effort to ensure all Greene County residents are aware of where they can go to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. As COVID-19 vaccination guidance and regulations are frequently changing, having access to up-to-date information is critical for every member of the community.
As of April 8th, there are many providers within Greene County that are currently listed on VaccineFinder. This includes pharmacies and other important PODs, such as the Greene County Public Health Department. While searching for available PODs, you can find information about each one, such as:
- Type(s) of vaccine(s) provided (Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson)
- Distance from a specific zip code/search radius
- Availability of vaccines
- Hours and contact info
- Directions to and from each specific POD
We strongly advise any resident using VaccineFinder to locate a Greene County POD to call ahead or visit the provider’s website. Appointments are required at most locations and walk-ins will not be accepted. Calling ahead is also recommended to ensure that any chosen POD has vaccines available.
Greene County will continue to inform our residents when more groups become eligible under the NYS plan.
Residents are encouraged to utilize our Vaccination Notification Request Form as well as any additional registration options available from the State and participating pharmacies to stay in the know about all COVID-19 vaccination updates.
