Members of the NYS Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) gathered in Albany on December 13th to recognize the Capital Region as a Top Performer and award $85Million to 110 projects across Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington Counties.
Funding for 5 Projects enhancing Economic Development in Greene County totaled $712,330.00 and include:
- Catskill Mountain Housing Development Corporation; Catskill Main Street Renovations; HCR NYMS; $300,000
- Thomas Cole Historic House; A celebration of the 200th anniversary of Thomas Cole’s arrival in America; Arts ACIP; $52,000
- Village of Catskill; Local Waterfront Revitalization Program; DOS LWRP; $85,000
- Columbia-Greene Community College; Transportation Training Program; DOL UWT; $50,330
- Columbia and Greene Counties; Thomas Cole House; Skywalk Marketing Campaign and Special Events; $225,000
